Foley, AL - The Foley (Ala.) Fire Department has received donated grain rescue equipment from Alabama Farmers Cooperative worth about $3,500 that will be housed on the department’s technical rescue trailer, according to a Gulf Coast Newsreport.
As part of the program, the Alabama Farmers Cooperative offers preliminary and advanced training to crews for using the rescue equipment, which includes a rescue tube and auger for removing grain from around an entrapment victim.
