Doug McCan, sales manager for Maxi-Tronic, Inc., retired in July.
McCan, who has been based in Owensville, MO, joined Maxi-Tronic in 1984 and stayed with the company after it was purchased in 1992 by Safe-Grain, Inc.
According to Safe-Grain, Inc./Maxi-Tronic, Inc. Owner Scott Chant, McCan was widely known and respected in the grain and feed industry, and his retirement will be felt by the company and the industry.
“He worked closely with our engineer, Jack Luers,” says Chant, “on many of our hazard monitoring, belt misalignment, and speed sensor products.”
McCan mentions his retirement plans include, “taking it easy, golfing, boating, and watching drag racing.”
