According to Stu Ellis, the heat-stressed corn and soybean crops are benefiting from the recent cooler temperatures.
In his Decatur (IL) Herald & Review column on Aug. 5, Ellis reports that Iowa, especially, has seen high temperatures and drought conditions, with the corn crops suffering.
