Ethanol Production Falls From Previous Week, U.S. Energy Information Administration Reports

Ethanol production in the United States declined 2.8% for the week ending July 31, leaving weekly ending stocks of fuel ethanol just 1.8% higher than the previous week, according to data released by the U.S. Energy Information Administration on Wednesday, Aug. 5.

Production averaged 931,000 barrels per day the week ending July 31, down from 958,000 barrels per day the week before.

Weekly U.S. ethanol ending stocks rose to 20.346 million barrels for the week ending July 31, up slightly from 20.272 million barrels the preceding week.
