Production of fuel ethanol was up 3%, leaving ending stocks higher in the United States last week, according to data released by the U.S. Energy Information Administration on Wednesday, Nov. 25.
Production averaged 990,000 barrels per day for the week ending Nov. 20 compared to 962,000 barrels per day the preceding week.
Weekly U.S. ethanol ending stocks grew to 20.866 million barrels, up from 20.203 million barrels for the week before.
