USDA Issues Emergency Declaration For Lower Mississippi
The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) has declared an emergency for grain exporters located on the lower Mississippi River from Baton Rouge, La. to the mouth of the river.
USDA also has issued a waiver of official inspection and weighing on a shipment-by-shipment basis until Sept. 30, 2021.
