Production of fuel ethanol in the United States stayed above 1 million barrels for the sixth consecutive week and went up from the week before, according to data released by the U.S. Energy Information Administration on Wednesday, Nov. 17.
Production averaged 1,060,000 barrels per day for the week ending Nov. 12 compared to 1,039,000 barrels per day the previous week.
This represents an increase of 2%
Meanwhile, weekly U.S. ethanol ending stocks dwindled, slipping to 20.081 million barrels from 20.286 million barrels week-to-week.
This represents a decrease of 1%.
