AgTrax®, the leading agribusiness software solution provider, with headquarters in Hutchinson, KS is seeking a dedicated, qualified (remote “territory” based) Regional Sales Manager to further grow its customer base in the Indiana, Michigan & Ohio region.
Candidates should have a strong understanding of the agriculture (Feed & Grain) Industry and software sales experience — excelling at building relationships, generating opportunities, and closing business deals.
The ideal candidate will be a quick learner, with strong communication and negotiating skills, and possess the ability to showcase our solution offerings in a compelling way.
Often tasked with giving presentations, attending networking events and trade shows, it’s essential this individual be personable and professional, as well as be familiar with and reside in the territory.
Responsibilities include identifying opportunities and presenting our reliable software programs and complete systems designed specifically for grain elevators, feed stores, fertilizer companies, full-service cooperatives, ethanol production plants, agronomy product and service providers, petroleum outlets, c-stores, and other types of businesses in agriculture; and recommending ways to promote and sell our software products.
To be successful in this role, individual should have excellent communication abilities and be highly motivated to meet sales goals.
