Production of fuel ethanol in the United States popped back above 1 million barrels again last week, according to data released today by the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA).
Production averaged 1,028,000 barrels per day for the week ending March 4 compared to 997,000 barrels per day the previous week.
This represents an increase of 3%.
Weekly ending stocks also rose, going to 25.271 million barrels from 24.933 million barrels week-to-week.
This represents an increase of a little more than 1%.
