U.S. Energy Information Administration (5/25): Daily Ethanol Production Back Over 1 Million Barrels

Daily production of fuel ethanol rose above 1 million barrels for the first time in seven weeks, according to data released today by the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA).

Production averaged 1,014,000 barrels per day for the week ending May 20, compared to 991,000 barrels per day the week before.

This represents an increase of more than 2%.

Weekly ending stocks were virtually unchanged, sinking to 23.712 million barrels from 23.791 million barrels week-to-week.
