Daily production of fuel ethanol went down slightly but stayed above 1 million barrels for the sixth consecutive week, according to data released today by the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA).
Production averaged 1,051,000 barrels per day for the week ending June 24, compared to 1,055,000 barrels per day the week before.
This represents a decrease of less than 1%.
Weekly ending stocks declined to 22.746 million barrels from 23.476 million barrels week-to-week.
This represents a decrease of about 3%.
