U.S. Energy Information Administration (7/13): Weekly Ethanol Production Stays Above 1 Million Barrels But Only Just

Daily production of fuel ethanol stayed above 1 million barrels for the eighth consecutive week, but only barely so, according to data released today by the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA).

Production averaged 1,005,000 barrels per day for the week ending July 8, compared to 1,044,000 barrels per day the week before.

This represents a decrease of more than 3% and the fourth consecutive weekly production decline.

Weekly ending stocks rose slightly to 23.606 million barrels from 23.490 million barrels week-to-week.
