According to today's USDA Grain Transportation Report, the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Federal Highway Administration has awarded grants to 23 bridge construction projects in 23 states to help fund the projects’ early planning phases.
The grants will help communities modernize bridges, facilitating the efficient, reliable movement of goods throughout the country. Among the locations receiving grants were Iowa City, IA ($300,000); Gallatin County, IL ($48,000); and The City of Excelsior, MN ($269,600).
