According to today's USDA Grain Transportation Report, effective until January 20, the Kentucky Governor has issued an hours-of-service (HOS) exemption for transporting feed products.
The exemption is intended to mitigate the effects of extreme cold and icy conditions across the Nation, which have caused distribution and delivery problems for livestock feed—especially, poultry feed.
