The Kansas Grain and Feed Association is hosting two operational, equipment and maintenance, and regulatory compliance seminars in Kearney, NE, on May 3 and Salina, KS, on May 4.

NGFA Vice President of Safety and Regulatory Affairs Jess McCluer and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) area directors will provide an update on the status of OSHA standards and enforcement practices that directly impact the grain, feed, and processing industry.

The training will focus on understanding the options for equipment selection and the implementation of routine and regular inspections/maintenance.

Additionally, representatives from the Essmeuller Company, McPherson Concrete Storage Systems and ProValue Insurance will discuss grain bin entry safety, bucket elevators, drag conveyors, and pre-harvest maintenance.
