Calgary, AB, CANADA — OPI, the global leader in grain storage management, is excited to announce that Adam Weiss has taken on the new role of Chief Executive Officer, stepping in as former CEO Dave Crompton begins his retirement.

“Adam is the ideal choice to lead OPI into the next generation of success,” says Crompton.

“He has spent over 25 years injecting innovation and superior customer satisfaction into tech-focused organizations.”

Weiss has been in Ag Tech for the last 10 years, leading the product and technology teams as a Director at GSI, COO at IntelliFarms, and VP at AGI.

“Building on its history of innovation, I’m excited to lead the next chapter of OPI’s growth,” says Weiss.

“By focusing on our partners and the customers we serve and leading the industry with the best products and services, we will fulfill our mission of getting every grain to market.”

Weiss holds a degree in Electrical Engineering and an MBA.

His tech-centric career has included accomplishments including transforming several ag tech businesses, overhauling product lines and retooling operations.

He lives in Missouri with his wife of 25 years.
