Owners are Lucille & Michael "Mick" Schmidt. Mick has been in the contracting and millwright business for 50 years.
Early contracting work included building some area churches and schools. Business progressed to grain elevator sites, including grain bins, legs and conveying equipment. His crews did the work from the ground up. Dirt work, concrete foundations, equipment erection and installation.
Mick retired from the contracting business in 2002 but continues to sell the popular "Magik Kleener" for farm and commercial grain cleaning to farmers, many local area and Midwestern elevators and through millwrights across the United States and into foreign countries.
A Magik Kleener gravity grain cleaner offers an inexpensive alternative to the high cost of completing a process important to product quality.
Most important, this screener does the job efficiently with virtually no operating expenses.
