Brock sweep sections are designed to be heavy duty to eliminate the need for floor jacks

Brock Grain Systems in mid-August introduced the 3500 Series to its line of commercial bin sweeps with the objective of withstanding the massive grain pressures generated in the industry’s largest and tallest bins.

According to Director of Sales John Tuttle, “The 3500 Series Sweeps feature all-electric operation and do not require hydraulics.

“They use an explosion-proof, heavy-duty motor with a V-belt drive and electrical collector ring for cord-free operation,” says Tuttle.

True Zero Entry

Brock sweep sections are designed to be heavy duty to eliminate the need for floor jacks, which allows for zero entry during bin unloading.

“An aggressive, rotating bin wall agitator breaks up hard-packed fines and soybean pods from the bin wall,” adds Tuttle, “while an adjustable back shield lets operators fine-tune the sweep length to a bin’s internal clearance requirements.”

Features

• Designed for grain bins up to 156 feet in diameter.

• Positive sprocket rail drive provides no-slip operation and more pushing torque.

• Standard auto-drive feature manages grain avalanches and compacted grain without the need to reverse.

• Available in two auger sizes:

-12-inch sweep auger fits bins from 30 to 105 feet in diameter and has an unload capacity of 4,000 or 6,000 bph.

-16-inch sweep auger fits bins from 60 to 156 feet in diameter and has an unload capacity of 8,000 or 10,000 bph.
