Highly visible position indicators help operators easily determine proper diverting location

Kice Industries has introduced an upgraded diverter valve for its Models 67Q2-2 through 67Q6-2 and 68Q2 through 68Q6 (2-inch to 6-inch OD line size) line of diverter valves.

According to Jeff Kice, technical sales, the improved diverter valve helps prolong the life of equipment, because its precise blade positioning reduces wear on the leading edge of the diverter blade.

“The highly visible position indicators help operators easily determine the proper diverting location without accessing the unit and taking the equipment offline,” he explains.

A new guard, he adds, was engineered to improve safety by removing potential pinch points, finger entry, and equipment protection per safety standards ANSI B11.19-2010 and OSHA 1910.219.

Field conversion kits are available for operators allowing easy conversion from a manually controlled diverter valve to an automatic valve.

The guard’s backplate mounts to the existing endplate bolt hole pattern, and conversion kits are available for mounting the controls on either side of the valve.
