iCue service sends data to the cloud

This article is taken from the May/June 2020 GRAIN JOURNAL

Since 1915, Donaldson has worked to solve its customers’ filtration needs, and today the company is one of the largest providers of filtration technologies. In September 2019, Donaldson introduced the iCue™ connected filtration service, which is designed for users to remotely monitor their dust collectors via a dashboard on a computer or mobile device.

According to Business Development Manager Dave Marek, “The Donaldson iCue connected filtration service digitally monitors key parameters on dust collection equipment and can help reduce downtime by helping users proactively address changes in those parameters. Alarms can be configured so users receive notification when dust collectors are operating outside of set parameters.”

IoT Technology

“The iCue service includes a compact device that features built-in cellular technology that sends data to the cloud,” explains Marek, “which eliminates the need to tie into the customer’s IT system. The base package includes the gateway unit and two sensors, but additional sensors can be added.”

Product Features

  • Easy-to-install system that works with dust collectors from most manufacturers.
  • Can be ordered separately or with Donaldson dust collection equipment.
  • System provides data within minutes of setup to help protect valuable and sensitive equipment.
  • Convenient dashboard can be used to monitor dust control equipment around the world.
