Entrapment Rescue Wall Makes Entrapment Rescue Easier, More Secure

KC Supply has combined the best features – steps and locking panels – of the top two designs to introduce its newest grain bin rescue device – The Great Stepped Wall for Grain Entrapment Rescue V4.0.

According to Owner Jeff Lavery, “Grain entrapment on farms and in commercial settings continues to occur too frequently. This new design helps reduce the response time by eliminating the usage of extra tools for insertion.”

Internal and External Steps

“The Great Stepped Wall panels are made as a one-piece extruded aluminum without welds, so they are stronger and more durable compared to other entrapment rescue products,” says Lavery.

External steps facilitate easy insertion by allowing rescuers to use steps for greater leverage. The internal steps enable first responders to reach the victim and provide first aid quickly. Also, the victim can gain a sense of security by holding onto the handles. Uninjured victims also may use the internal steps to climb out of the grain.

The 5-foot-high, 16-inch-wide panels (25 lbs. each) come in a smooth mill finish to slide easily through most grains.

The panels feature a ball-and-socket pivot to allow one or numerous panels to create a round tube, straight barrier wall, horseshoe, or unlimited shapes, sizes, and angles. The interlocking panels maintain structural integrity as they are not prone to separate.

The six-piece panel system is available with four 18-inch-x-18-inch polyethylene platforms, rescue auger, and carry bag.
