Flat-Bottom Drag Conveyor Moves Bulk Materials Quickly, Gently

Sweet Manufacturing in November 2015 introduced the Flite-Veyor® 3026 incline flat-bottom drag conveyor to its line of grain handling equipment.

According to Vice President of Marketing Mike Gannon, “the 3026 incline flat-bottom drag conveyor is designed for moving bulk materials quickly and gently at 14,000 to 20,000 bph.

“It offers either a gear motor or V-belt drive, and the trough sections ship pre-assembled to reduce installation time,” he says.

Heavy-Duty Construction

“The Flite-Veyor 3026 incline conveyor is made of heavy-duty, U.S.-made galvanized steel,” says Gannon.

“It features a heavy-duty, drop-forged chain with a resilient, ductile core for shock resistance and a hard exterior surface for wear resistance,” he explains.

In addition, the tail section is designed with heavy-duty, 3/8-inch takeup plate weldments and heavy-duty screw takeups with a self-tensioning spring.
