Grain Dryer Control for Delux Grain Dryers

Delux Mfg. Co. has been designing and manufacturing grain dryers for more than 50 years. In late November the company introduced its MoistureLink G2™ grain dryer control designed for new Delux grain dryers.

According to Engineer Jesse Weaver, “the MoistureLink G2 grain dryer control was designed around the overwhelming success of its predecessor, the Moisture Link Plus moisture controller.

“All dryer function is controlled completely by the new G2 controller,” explains Weaver, “whereas before it controlled only the moisture.”

“The embedded MoistureLink drying technology controls the unload system for accurate and precise moisture of grain exiting the dryer, which saves the user money by reducing costly over-drying.”

Mobile Connectivity

With a smartphone or other internet-connected device, users can remotely access dryers to view their status and make operational changes to target moisture, plenum temperature, and more.

“In the event of dryer shutdown, the controller monitor displays what caused the shutdown and provides the ability to reboot the dryer,” he says. “It also can send text message alerts in the event of a shutdown,” he says.

“All MoistureLink G2 control panels feature a cellular radio, so Delux service technicians can instantly access dryers remotely if needed.”
