DigiMax Digital Hazard Monitor System Automatically Detects, Locks Out Defective Sensors, Wiring

System designed to accommodate difficult industrial environments

Maxi-Tronic, Inc. in March introduced the DigiMax™ digital hazard monitor system, which is designed to integrate seamlessly with the company’s MaxiScan controller, MaxiTrack PC software, and PLCs.

According to Senior Engineer Jack Luers, the easy-to-deploy system uses a single Cat 5 cable to link to bearing temperature, belt misalignment, motion, and other industry standard digital sensors.

Easy Installation and Troubleshooting

“The DigiMax digital hazard monitor system automatically detects and locks out defective sensors and wiring when part of the system is compromised or damaged,” explains Luers. “It was specifically designed to accommodate difficult industrial environments, including electrical noise from VFD motors.

“The system supports remote viewing of sensor data on Android, iOS, and any web browser,” he adds.
