Maxi-Tronic in August introduced the MaxiScan™ 24+ hazard monitoring controller, which is designed to protect elevators, conveyors, and other grain and bulk material handling equipment by providing hazard monitoring control for bearing temperature, belt misalignment, and surface-mount temperature.

According to Product Manager Doug McCan, “The MaxiScan™ 24+ controller can monitor up to 144 sensors, compared to 24 sensors for earlier systems. The MaxiScan™ 24+ can be hardwired to a DCI controller to send data to a PLC. It also can handle both analog and digital inputs within the same system.”

Improved Safety

“Expanding the system’s capability from 24 to 144 sensors really improves safety and productivity by expanding sensor monitoring that can help prevent unnecessary shutdowns,” explains McCan. “In addition, the MaxiScan™ 24+ is intuitive, easy to use, and password enabled for enhanced security.”
