Fall Protection System Reduces Risk of Serious Injury from Ladders

KC Supply Co. in January introduced the Ladder Climbing System fall protection device.

According to President Jeff Lavery, the Ladder Climbing System is a relatively simple, low-maintenance fall protection system that has a locking mechanism that instantly engages to stop slips or falls within a few inches, reducing the possibility of serious injury.

“Our Ladder Climbing Systems are designed for installation on fixed, permanent ladders of any height,” says Lavery. “Users can install a cable or rail system and place the sleeve on it to improve safety and peace of mind.”

Easy Installation

“The Ladder Climbing System is easy to install, easy to use, and requires little maintenance,” he adds. “It works with any harness that has a front D ring.”

“The Ladder Climbing Systems are available in galvanized or stainless steel for long life, and periodically inspecting the cable for frays and to ensure the cable is secure is the only maintenance required,” adds Lavery.
