Product Review ... Airmatic; Hopper Car Gate Opener

For more than 75 years, Airmatic has been an industrial distributor of bulk handling equipment, maintenance, repair, operations, production, and safety supplies.

In 2019, Airmatic introduced the Workmaster GO-B3 hopper car gate opener, a portable, battery-driven, torque-controlled power tool that produces up to 3,000 foot-pounds of torque.

According to Product Manager Bob Braun, “The GO-B3 opens easy to moderately difficult hopper car gates and offers more maximum torque than most competitive options at a substantially lower cost. It comes with two long-lasting HD lithium-ion batteries that, if properly maintained, will last for years and open hundreds of hopper car gates.”
