Dynatrol® Detectors have evolved from their introduction in the 1950s. Today the DJ level switch is designed to handle either high- or low-point level detection of bulk solids.
According to Technical Sales Manager Steve Sawyer, “The DJ Detector operates successfully on applications such as baghouses, cyclone separators, or above airlocks. It maintains consistent results with flour, feed milling, feed blending, grain storage, pellet mills, and many other granulated materials.”
“Constructed for a long operating life,” says Sawyer, “DJ Detectors require no adjustments and have no moving parts. There are no gaskets or seals to deteriorate. They withstand dusty environments and work well in vessels equipped with vibrators. They are virtually wear-free.
“Additionally,” he adds, “installation is simple. The level switch mounts through a 3/4-inch half-coupling at the point of desired level detection. You can achieve reliable operation with this level switch in applications where other types of controls may fail to operate.”
