Product Review ... Grain Moisture Analyzer

Founded in 1966, DICKEY-john serves the grain and feed industry through the design and manufacture of precision grain analysis instruments.

In June, the company introduced the GAC® 2700-UGMA grain moisture analyzer, which is designed to provide elevator operators fast, accurate information and analysis.

According to Global Analytical Product Manager Roger VanderKolk, “The GAC 2700-UGMA provides improved operation, shorter processing time, and is easier to use, reducing training requirements. The GAC 2700-UGMA is our best grain moisture analyzer.

“In addition,” says VanderKolk, “the improved interface and navigation make the 2700 as easy to use as an app on your smartphone.”

Intuitive Interface

“This grain moisture analyzer is intuitive to use and can be customized to minimize the need for human interaction, which improves the overall processing time in the scale room,” he adds. “The drop-down menu allows customers to navigate to other screens, and managers can lock out specific users to improve security.

“Because the 2700-UGMA and GAC 2500-UGMA use the same calibrations, customers can use the same calibration set from instrument to instrument,” he explains.
