BarnesCo Inc. since 1984 has manufactured and serviced manlifts, belt manlifts, and special purpose personnel elevators to move people in the grain and feed industry safely, reliably, and efficiently.

According to General Manager Chase Demaree, “Special purpose personnel elevators have become much more popular in the last 10 years as the safety culture has shifted away from belt manlift systems. These elevators come in 10-foot bolt-together sections or 20-foot welded-together tower sections for new builds and retrofits. They have an option for single push-button automatic controllers with end-use light.”

Convenient and Reliable

“Special purpose personnel elevators are convenient and reliable,” explains Demaree. “We manufacture all of our own equipment at our facility in Arkansas City, KS.

“We have our own installation crews and inspectors in-house,” he adds, “and we stock our most common parts for easy maintenance and excellent reliability.”
