Product Review ... Steel Storage Bin

Since 1972, GSI has manufactured a wide variety of corrugated steel storage bins. In August, the company introduced the EVO 50 grain storage bin, which is designed for increased strength and durability.

According to Greg Trame, director of global product management-grain and seed, “The EVO 50 provides the strongest bin and the highest level of protection for grain, and it is also the fastest to construct. This design rethinks everything from how GSI connects grain bin sheets to the actual sheets themselves.”

Exclusive Interlaced Lamination

“Interlaced lamination is proprietary to GSI,” says Trame, “and has been used on large GSI bins since 2019. EVO 50 will increase use of this technology.

Other industry firsts, he adds, include sealing washers for the nuts on the inside of the bin and 2X sheets.”
