Quick-Tach Skid Steer Hopper Gate Opener

Arnold Company has provided a variety of material handling, vibration equipment, and railcar hopper gate openers to the ag industry since 1985.

In 2009, the company introduced the Quick-Tach skid steer device for opening hopper gates, which is designed with a universal mount quick-attach plate, allowing it to easily mount to most skid-steers or similar loading devices.

According to President and Owner Albert Middeke, “It runs off the skid steer’s hydraulics so it’s perfect for locations that lack a power source such as air or electric.”

Lower Cost Alternative

“The Quick-Tach is a lower-cost option to a fully contained unit,” says Middeke. “Covered hopper gates are difficult, slow, and unsafe to open. This provides a powered way for customers to safely and efficiently open hopper gates using their existing equipment.”
