Global Fabrication Transport Conveyor Longest, Largest Capacity On Market

Global Fabrication in fall 2016 introduced the largest capacity and longest transport conveyor to its line of transport stacking conveyors.

According to Engineering Manager Chris Jacob, the new 30,000-bph, 130-foot-long transport conveyor is the longest and largest capacity transport conveyor on the market.

“This large capacity transport conveyor improves efficiency by being able to fill to a 160-foot-wide temporary storage pile,” he says.

“It also incorporates an automatic, hydraulic belt-tensioning system that senses when the belt stretches and adjusts the tension to keep consistent pressure pull on the belt. This improves safety and efficiency by eliminating the need to perform manual belt adjustments with a wrench.”

“This transport conveyor also has a unique, OSHA-approved auto-leveling ‘chariot’ platform with full operator controls to improve safety, convenience, and comfort,” adds Jacob. “The chariot allows the operator to ride on the machine instead of walking beside it.”
