Wireless indicator reduces installation costs

In late 2017, the ELI (Extron Level Indicator) was introduced.

The patent-pending ELI is UL certified intrinsically safe to place in bins, battery powered, and impervious to dust to provide 24/7 visibility.

“The wireless level indicator is battery powered to reduce installation costs and is easy to retrofit existing bins. The battery has an expected life of three to five years for low maintenance costs,” says Vice President Dustin Paloranta.

“The sensor provides continuous, real-time access to bin level information, and it’s accurate within 3 inches,” he explains. “It can also be used in solids or liquids with any kind of commodity.”

Improved Safety

“The ELI eliminates the need to manually measure bin inventory levels, and the information can be viewed anywhere on any web-enabled device. It enables remote site monitoring to reduce theft and allows users to view ins and outs and 12-month historical data,” adds Paloranta.
