Three new speakers have been added to the National Grain and Feed Association 124th Annual Convention March 8-10 in Austin, TX.
U.S. Sen. Mike Braun, R-Indiana, will lead a discussion on "Solutions for Agriculture in the U.S. Senate" on Monday, March 9.
In the Senate, Braun serves on the Aging Committee, Agriculture Committee, Budget Committee, Environment & Public Works (EPW) Committee, and the Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee (HELP). He is the founder and CEO of Meyer Distributing.
Pipa Elias is the director of Agriculture North America, The Nature Conservancy. She will speak about "Sustainability in Agriculture: Putting Research Into Action" on Tuesday, March 10.
Elias joined TNC in 2015 as a senior policy adviser, leading land use policy advocacy at the United Nations climate negotiations and other multilateral venues.
Ryan Sirolli is the Global Row Crop Sustainability director for Cargill. He will join the Tuesday, March 10, discussion on "Sustainability in Agriculture: Putting Research Into Action."
Sirolli has spent his entire career working along the food and agriculture value chain. His experiences range from managing a row crop and beef operation in Maryland to creating integrated supply chain solutions between dairy producers, growers and consumer packaged goods (CPG) companies.
