Constructive Talks Regarding Facilitating Russia's Grain, Fertilizer Exports to Global Market Occurred Between U.N., Russia

U.N. officials and Russian First Deputy Prime Minister Andrei Belousov talked in Moscow regarding exporting Russia's grain and fertilizer to the global market.

The same talks are now happening in Washington. While the U.S. doesn't currently have sanctions against Russia's grain and fertilizer, some companies are still weary of these exports.

This is why, according to Reuters, "U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Linda Thomas-Greenfield said the United States is prepared to give 'comfort letters' to shipping and insurance companies to help facilitate exports of Russian grain and fertilizer."
