GEAPS Foundation Elects Officers for 2023-2024

The GEAPS Foundation has elected Darren Zink, global product manager, Fill-Rite, as chairman for the 2023-2024 fiscal year. The election came at the Association’s annual meeting held November 28, 2023. In taking office, Zink thanked outgoing chair Mark Fedje with General Mills for his dedicated service to the organization and years of unwavering support. Zink added “as we look back many decades from now, please let it be known that our achievements would not have been possible without Mark’s leadership.”

The group elected David Krejci, past GEAPS and GEAPS Foundation executive, as president. Robert Taylor, Cargill, and Tim Sullivan, retired from Landus, were respectively re-elected to the roles of secretary and treasurer. GEAPS Foundation officers serve one-year terms. Directors elected to three-year terms on the board of directors were:

  • Carol Jones, Oklahoma State University and CL Jones Consulting, LLC
  • Jeff Jones, Mid Kansas Cooperative
  • Marcus Neal, MN AgSolutions LLC

Also elected to fill a board vacancy was Vince Marze, WL Port-Land Systems Inc.

The newly elected board members join the following incumbents on the board.

  • Barb Grove, Central Valley Ag Cooperative
  • Brandi Miller, Kansas Cooperative Council
  • Steve Myers, Bunge Milling
  • Jeff Roumph, WD Patterson Co
