Why Attend?

This training, developed by the FSPCA, is the “standardized curriculum” the Food and Drug Administration recognizes as adequate for PCQI and is one way to meet the requirements for a PCQI.

The course will be led by Paul Davis, Ph.D., AFIA's director of quality, animal food safety and education, and Gary Huddleston, AFIA's director of feed manufacturing and regulatory affairs.

Huddleton is an award-winning PCQI instructor, recognized by FSPCA as one of its top 10 instructors in the country for PCQI training for animal food for the number of participants trained and FSPCA Preventive Controls for Animal Food certificates issued between Aug. 15, 2022, and Aug. 15, 2023.


Who Should Attend?
The PCQI training program is designed to provide individuals with the knowledge and skills needed to develop and implement animal food safety plans in compliance with the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) regulations.
