AFIA Offices to Operate on Virtual Basis Beginning March 16

Dear AFIA members,

The new coronavirus situation facing our country and many others throughout the world is especially troubling, presenting dire consequences for public health, stressing global healthcare systems and economies and affecting operations across all sectors of society.

This is an unprecedented situation which requires many of us to take aggressive and decisive action to protect our individual and collective health.

In an effort to slow the global pandemic and protect the health and well-being of our staff, members and visitors in our Arlington, Va., office, the American Feed Industry Association will operate on a virtual basis beginning Monday, March 16.

Rest assured, we are not suspending or closing operations.

We will continue to serve you and conduct business on a remote basis through March 31.

All of our staff’s emails and direct dial phone numbers can be found here.

Please do not hesitate to reach out and contact anyone with questions or concerns.

In addition, if your business begins to face challenges with operations, labor or any other issue related to COVID-19, please share that with Leah Wilkinson, AFIA’s vice president of public policy and education.

We are keeping track of these issues and will evaluate if there are ways that we may assist from an overall industry perspective.

Please remember that we are your partner throughout this crisis and the safety and health of your employees and your ability to keep America’s livestock, poultry and pets fed is a shared concern of ours.

We are here and are willing to help in any way possible.

Thank you for your continued understanding and support as we all try to navigate this rapidly devolving situation.

And most importantly, please stay safe and healthy.
