Computerized Maintenance Management System Enables Maintenance To Be Performed More Efficiently

System ensures maintenance is being performed when needed

In October, Comco introduced a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) designed to work with any real-time control system to enable maintenance to be performed more efficiently based on real equipment time and usage, rather than a static monthly schedule.

According to Director of Sales Cheryl Lansink, “as facilities and equipment get bigger and operate with less maintenance staff, managing maintenance is increasingly important. This software system reduces costs by ensuring you’re not performing unnecessary maintenance or too little maintenance.”

Ease of Use

Lansink says the cloud-based software system is easy to use, and important information such as manuals or drawings can be attached, so seasonal workers know what maintenance needs to be performed and how to do it.

“Because it’s cloud-based, you don’t need a server onsite. It can be accessed using a smartphone, tablet, or laptop from anywhere you have internet service,” adds Lansink.
