Norstar Industries Bin Sweep/Unload System Includes Fully-Integrated Motorized Sweep

Norstar Industries recently introduced its Platinum Series bin sweep to its line of commercial bin sweeps.

According to Marketing Manager Ryan Sawatzky, the innovative sweep/unload system includes a fully-integrated motorized sweep with a U-trough unload conveyor.

“The Platinum sweep offers unload and cleanout with a full aeration floor setup instead of a concrete tunnel/conveyor,” he says.

“The Platinum Series offers true zero-entry operation,” he adds, “with an above-floor UL-listed collector ring and twin-flight center sump.”

These features, says Sawatzky, allow for the sweep and unload conveyor to combine seamlessly with all cabling running underneath the bin floor and no need to enter the bin to run the sweep.

“The Platinum Series provides exceptional efficiency in gravity unload and cleanout, with unload capacities of up to 12,000 bph and sweep capacities of up to 6,500 bph,” he adds.

“The Platinum Series has been designed as a complete bin cleaning solution for smaller commercial operations like feed mills with bin diameters up to 90 feet and operations that do not want to use a tunnel or conveyor.”
