CompuWeigh was founded in 1978, when it introduced its Bulk Weigh System, the first computerized legal-for-trade bulkweighing system for the grain industry.

According to Senior Vice President-Sales and Marketing Tim Ciucci, “We are the only company that designs both the physical scale and control system.

“The Bulk Weigh System continuously monitors the flow rate,” says Ciucci, “providing greater accuracy than other systems, and it is approved for use in the United States, Canada, the European Union, and Ukraine.”

Improved Safety

“Upper garner feed and weigh hopper discharge gates now have full-width access doors that improve safety during inspections, maintenance, and overall access to the scale,” he adds. “The Bulk Weigh System enables high-speed loadout and/or receiving of trucks, railcars, barges, and vessels, and it also provides easy production monitoring.”

Features

• Monitors flow rate, and a trim limit switch on the upper garner gate ensures accurate final weights.

• A mid-level sensor in the upper garner ensures consistent flow rates.

• Lowest-height scales on the market and highly customizable with capacities of 4,000-135,000 bph.

• Options include different wear liners, paint, sizes, hydraulic/pneumatic, and hopper configurations.
