Sega Ag Works in late 2020 introduced its grain reclamation bucket for reclaiming or loading grains into temporary storage piles.

According to Operations Manager Jeremy Seggebruch, “After many millions of bushels and thousands of hours of proven use, we have incorporated design improvements to make the bucket the most efficient reclamation bucket available.

Featuring excellent balance/load placement for greater efficiency, when the bucket rotates, it brings the center of gravity closer to the machine for safe operations and a faster cycle time.

The 6-foot-x-2-1/2-foot door design eliminates friction and provides excellent flow for any orientation to the grain truck.”

High Strength, Minimal Weight

“The reclamation bucket features a box-style frame and strong, robust design,” says Seggebruch.

“Every corner is a double corner for the highest strength and minimal weight,” he adds.

“With 3/16-inch sheeting, the weight is in the corners – which is where you want it for greater strength and durability – not in the sheet.”

Features of Grain Reclamation Bucket

  • The door design allows greater variability for loading trucks from any position or angle.
  • The ability to move aeration tubes without needing another piece of equipment and remove tarps while loading for greater efficiency.
  • Buckets can be built to match your excavator specifications and pin spacing.
  • Three-pin design allows forward use and backward use to fill or unload piles
