Since 1996, Specialty Rescue and Fire Service has provided emergency response training, consulting, and equipment services to the grain and feed industry.
In 2021, the company introduced silo and bin cleaning services using zero-entry equipment featuring dual-whip technology designed to break up hardened material.
According to Director of Sales and Marketing Shelby White, “We offer both non-entry and entry teams, and our entry teams are trained for confined space rescue.”
Additionally, says White, “Specialty Rescue and Fire Service provides cleaning service, as well as confined space training, hazmat training, and other safety training throughout the country.”
“A silo that begins to lose flow can result in lost production, and more buildup can form over time,” adds White. “Silos and storage vessels should be cleaned on a regular basis to prevent a blockage or buildup that could result in not being able to use the bin.”
• Bin-whip service with dual-whip technology provides fast, reliable, buildup removal.
• Entry teams consist of confined space rescue-trained personnel.
• Vacuum services can move 6,000 bph for fast, efficient grain removal.
• Silo inspection services help ensure structural integrity.
