Railcar Mover Provides 43,900 Pounds of Single-Coupled Tractive Effort

In March, Trackmobile® introduced its newest mobile railcar mover – the Atlas.

According to President Ralph Przybyszewski, the Atlas railcar mover is the highest capacity model the company has introduced in its 70-year history.

It can deliver 43,900 pounds of single-coupled tractive effort and 60,200 pounds when double coupled.

“Trackmobiles have always offered high quality and value in railcar spotting and switching, and the Atlas takes us to the next level in locomotive replacements for in-plant usage,” says Przybyszwski. “Development of the Atlas is another example of Trackmobile’s dedication to meet specific customer needs.”
